Unpublished, time-sensitive and proposed rules for October 2, 2014:

TEMPORARY RULE: The Coast Guard has issued a temporary deviation from the operating schedule that governs the Jefferson Street Drawbridge across the Illinois River, mile 287.9, at Joliet, Illinois. The deviation is necessary to allow the Fall Color 5K run to cross the bridge. This deviation allows the bridge to remain in the closed-to-navigation position and not open to vessel traffic for one hour. This deviation is effective from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., October 5, 2014.

TEMPORARY RULE: The Coast Guard has issued a temporary deviation from the operating schedule that governs the Cass Street Drawbridge across the Illinois River, mile 288.1, at Joliet, Illinois. The deviation is necessary to allow the Fall Color 5K run to cross the bridge. This deviation allows the bridge to remain in the closed-to-navigation position and not open to vessel traffic for one hour. This deviation is effective from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., October 5, 2014.

TEMPORARY RULE: The Coast Guard has issued a temporary deviation from the operating schedule that governs the Rio Vista Drawbridge across Sacramento River, mile 12.8, at Rio Vista, CA. The deviation is necessary to allow the bridge owner to make necessary bridge maintenance repairs. This deviation allows the bridge to open on four hours advance notice during the deviation period. This deviation is effective without actual notice from October 2, 2014 through 6 a.m. on October 17, 2014. For the purposes of enforcement, actual notice will be used from 9 p.m. on September 22, 2014, until October 2, 2014.
